How to shop at Target

February 8th, 2008 at 03:53 pm

I used to be far more of a frequent Target shopper until I realized that I should be downsizing at this point as opposed to accumulating more -- but every so often, I like to go in and see what they have on clearance. Like last summer when my camo pants landed on the clearance rack for 9$.
Happy day.

I actually will shop at Target for t-shirts (as opposed to Walmart, which I have issues with as you know) and I love the $1 aisle there. I try not to go there more than once a month, though, because you go in looking for one thing and come out with 50 things if you're compulsive like me.

I actually shop at Target for the kids. Cheaper than the thrift shops for brand new stuff most of the times. I stopped bothering going way out of my way to pay $4/pop for used stuff when Target has $4/pop new. Not that it is great quality (I no longer shop there for myself, I find it to be mostly crap). But the kids outgrow it in like a week so it works for them.

Ooooh - LOVE the $1 aisle too!!!

I didn't want to use the "crap" word, but yeah, Target's clothing is basically crap, which is why I wait for the sales at better-quality places and then get my stuff there (aside from t-shirts, which I tend to ruin in a matter of weeks anyways....) I'm fortunate with the kid's clothes because my sister and mother tend to go overboard for every little holiday and buy out Gymboree and the Nordstrom's shoe department for my daughter. If I were paying for her clothes, they would not be coming from Gymboree ....
